Lenten Adult Christian Education Series

Sundays March 11 & 18 - 11:15 a.m.

Listening for God: Contemporary Literature and the Life of Faith by Paula J. Carlson and Peter S. Hawkins.
We will gather after worship in Edson Chapel for informal discussions about the book, Listening for God. On March 18 David Zach will lead the discussion on Frederick Buechner "The Dwarves in the Stable" and Annie Dillard "The Deer at Provendicia."  Stop by the  Bookmobile (located in the Cloister Garden during Fellowship Hour) to purchase a copy of Listening for God.
Light refreshments will be served.
Easter Lillie
Easter Lilies

Easter lily plants, dedicated to the memory or honor of loved ones, will be used to decorate the Sanctuary and Garden on Easter morning, April 1st.

The plants may be taken home by the donor after the 11:00 a.m. service of worship on Easter or given as a donation.

Your name and the name(s) of your loved ones will be printed in the Easter bulletin.  The cost for each plant is $15.  50 lily plants are available; once those are sold we will be unable to accept additional orders. > Order your lilies today!

A procession with palm fronds, special music and a live donkey
in the Cloister Garden begins our celebration of Holy Week.


Maundy Thursday Service

March 29 at 7:30 p.m.  Candlelight Service of Worship with the Lord's last supper and Tenebrae.                                                                                                                                                    

Good Friday, March 30
Good Friday Coffee with friends of Macedonia Church.
10:30 a.m. until noon in the Manse.

Easter Sunday, April 1
6:30 a.m. - Sunrise Service in Edson Chapel  - Communion Served
9 a.m. & 11 a.m. - Family Worship Services in the Sanctuary
Childcare available for children under 4.
Coffee and fellowship in the Cloister Garden following both services.
Scripture Readings: Jeremiah 31:1-6 and Matthew 28:1-10
The annual Easter Egg Hunt begins after the 9:00 a.m service.

Sunday, May 6 - 11:00 a.m. - Davis Hall

Calling All Artists!!  Here’s a chance to share your creative talents with Plymouth friends.  Everyone is invited to participate in the Annual Plymouth Arts Show.  Bring your art to show or sell.  Exhibit your paintings, crafts, or photographs.  Baking is an art too; your cakes and cookies will be most welcome!  A portion of sales will fund our church’s youth program.  Space is limited.  If you have questions or would like to reserve your table contact Bonnie Fenn (305-632-0430) or Glenn Terry (305-448-3775).

**This year we are also bringing back the popular Car Show to coincide with the Arts Show.  If you have a classic car that you would be interested in displaying on May 6, please contact Tim Battle.
