Outreach Ministries

The Board of Outreach and Mission (BOOM) oversees Plymouth’s outreach ministry to our local community. It does so through a group of 12 or more Plymouth members who serve on the Board and carry out the ministry to each recipient agency. Oftentimes outreach consists of organizing events where Plymouth members and friends of Plymouth volunteer and work together to support the mission of various agencies. Here are a few:

AIDS Walk/Care Resources

Chapman Partnership Welcome Bags

Christmas in July

Christmas Boxes for Homeless, Orphan and other Children

Coconut Grove Crisis Food Pantry

Eagle Scout Projects

Habitat for Humanity

Rebuilding Together Miami-Dade

School Backpacks and Supplies in Village West/ Christmas in July

100 Hands Day of Service (Plymouth members helping various agencies)

We welcome everyone’s involvement in Plymouth’s outreach. If you are interested in serving on BOOM, want to join in various volunteer activities or just want to find out more, please contact the church office at 305-444-6521.

In addition to BOOM, over time our members’ zeal to reach out and help has permeated many of Plymouth’s groups resulting in long term missional relationships and deep bonds with our community between these Plymouth groups and their recipient agencies.
