Adult Education

Our Adult Ed. program focuses on spiritual growth by exploring ideas and issues related to faith,  challenges in daily life and challenges within the world around us.

The gatherings are informative, stimulating and lively exchanges which occur throughout the year. Some of our most popular events are lead by lay people, (retired pastors, college professors and leaders in various fields) all speaking on issues related to their areas of expertise.

Weekly Selections Include:

Lay–led Bible Readings and Prayer - Member-led discussion of Bible passages, meditation and prayer.  If you intend to attend, please let either the church office (305-444-6521) or Andrea Burt (305-310-2572) know.
 Saturdays @ 9-10:30 am - Prayer Room in Plymouth Hall

Sunday Bible Study with Pastor Al - Beginning May 6, Pastor Al will lead the Bible Study as we go thourhg the Goapel of Mark. No reservations or preparation needed. No worries if you miss a metting. Coffee will be available.                     Sundays - 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.- Lower Plymouth Hall.

Men's Member-led Bible Study - Tuesdays at 7:30 am - Le Pain Quotidien in Coconut Grove

Women's Member-led Bible Study - Organized by Ana Zack and Leslie van de Velde-Laughren

Tuesdays - 11:15 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. - Pilgrim House - BYOL & Water

 We begin with a study of Esther. Anchoring the study is "Esther - It's Tough Being A Woman", a 9 - week DVD course by Beth Moore. (To learn more about Beth Moore - go to >

 3rd Saturday each month @ 10:30 am to 12:30 pm – Pilgrim House or the Manse

Plymouth Bookmobile -  Books on faith-related subjects and Plymouth Book Group selections             1st Sunday each month -  During our Fellowship Hour in the Cloister Garden
