My Plymouth

As part of its ministry, Plymouth Congregational Church, an Open and Affirming church, offers its facilities and staff for weddings of both members and non-members.

Plymouth's sanctuary, placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, combines a fascinating history that began soon after the City of Miami was incorporated with a setting in the midst of Coconut Grove’s lush tropical landscape.

The sanctuary’s coral rock walls, wood beams, renovated pipe organ, and updated sound system add to its beauty and functionality for wedding ceremonies.

Weddings are times of joy and covenant. Our Wedding Coordinator, Geri Berounsky , 305-444-6521, ext. 229, is available by appointment Monday through Thursday, 10:30 am to 4 pm, for wedding information and Geri will help you with many of the questions couples ask us about having their wedding at Plymouth. Also, wedding packets may be picked up at the Church Office, located across Devon Road from the sanctuary.

When you meet with Geri, it will be your opportunity to begin discussing dates, your vision for your wedding and Plymouth’s services to accommodate your wedding. Also, our Church Organist, Mr. Christopher Toth, Music, looks forward to discussing with you your preferences for music at your wedding.  Please contact her early in this process to begin exploring ideas and planning for your wedding music.

We hope you will give serious consideration to Plymouth Church for the location of your wedding.
